George Forman is a 1967 graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, and a 1970 graduate of U.C. Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law, began his career with California Indian Legal Services (CILS) in 1970, and over the ensuing 15 years served as a staff attorney, directing attorney, executive director, litigation director and director of a special untermination and recognition project.  In 1985, George entered full-time private practice; in April, 1996 he co-founded Forman & Prochaska, and in February, 2006, George began practice as Forman & Associates, Attorneys at Law.  George taught as an Adjunct Professor at U.C.'s Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco for 10 years.

George is admitted to the bars of and has practiced before the California Supreme Court, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the District of Columbia, Ninth and Sixth Circuits, all of the U.S. District Courts in California, and has been admitted pro hac vice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western Districts of Washington and Michigan.
